On August 9, 2019, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced plans to close all but seven of its 20 field offices worldwide. USCIS plans to maintain operations in Guatemala City, Guatemala; Mexico City, Mexico; San Salvador, El Salvador; Beijing, China; Guangzhou, China; Nairobi, Kenya; and New Delhi, India. USCIS plans to close the field offices in Monterrey, Mexico and Seoul, South Korea as early as the end of September 2019. Of course, as additional details become available regarding the above, we will provide regular updates.
